Introducing a fresh natural solution to ventilation

Lower your Carbon Footprint with a wind driven turbine ventilator

Roof mounted turbine ventilators (Turbo Vents) are  economical, maintenance free and require no electricity. Turbine ventilators extract hot, polluted and stale air from within a building or roof space and replace it with fresh air from outside.
Benifits of turbine ventilators for the work place
Eight out of ten industrial and commercial buildings in South Africa are inadequately ventilated. Turbine ventilators are designed to address your ventilation needs economically and efficiently. Turbo Vents range of turbine ventilators extract hot. polluted, stale air from enclosed spaces, replacing it with fresh air from outside. Turbine ventilators transform hot, stuffy working environments within hours.. The result is an improvement in staff comfort levels and an increase in productivity.

Activated by convection and wind, turbines operate around the clock without consuming electricity. Their quiet, clean and effective operation ensures performance without disturbing employees. Improved air quality resulting from turbine ventilation increases the shelf life of perishable and heat sensitive merchandise and reduces deterioration of structural materials. Turbo Vent has the largest range of turbine ventilators in Southern Africa. These turbine ventilators are manufactured to the highest international standards from the best material available.

Benifits of turbine ventilators for the home owner
Heat and moisture in the roof space of your house can result in uncomfortable living condition and damage to your home. In summer, temperatures in the roof space can reach a staggering 65 degC. This heat radiates downwards causing discomfort in the living areas. The effectiveness of any insulation is reduced while any air-conditioners you may have must work harder.. During winter, water vapour from bathrooms and kitchens is drawn into the roof space and condenses to form as much as 12 litres of moisture per day.. This can render insulation ineffective and cause damage to roof timbers and ceiling boards.

By correctly installing a simple roof turbine, the hot air trapped in the roof space is effectively removed in summer. In winter, effective ventilation removes the moisture laden air. Activated by convection and wind, turbines operate around the clock without without consuming electricity. A turbine ventilator can also be used  to directly ventilate a room by using ducting connected to a ceiling vent.
